The stair rails and stair area were just too beautiful to pass up. I simply had to see Jenny in black against the black of the rail. I had hoped the black of the bars would show up better but looks like that didn't happen. (the idea was originally sound hehe!)

I saw this kind of shot in a Victoria Secret Catalogue and this is my tribute to those God-like photographers that inspire me so.

Lighting was difficult because of the lack of availible space. For this shot i had my assistant on the spot with the gold reflector to give that VS style that i crave. Shooting in a 4-5 foot wide area provides its own host of difficulties alone! You don't see it here, but i had to shoot in a weird body position hahaha. (the acrobatics i'm forced to do... sheesh)

Reflector position was just behind Jenny's lovely left shoulder (a few steps above) and was pointed down. I had hoped to get rid of the shadows on the stairs but it did its job on her shoulder just fine. I simply couldn't fit the reflector in the right position to get rid of the stair shadow without the reflector showing up in the shot.

The softbox was to my left and my cheek was nuzzling up against it causing me quite alot of heat discomfort !!!

Setup time for this shot was about 8 mins.

i think it was all worth it. and yes, everyone agrees that Jenny reminds us all of BoA. (korean singer)

And on a side note, congratulations to Jenny on her awesome performance yesterday as she performed in front of a large crowd with background dancers!!. Jenny has a lovely singing voice and loves to dance!
